So What Is Tradier?

How Do I Get Started?

Tradier add on enables two modes
Single Leg Tradier
Multi Leg Tradier

Both the modes are more or less the same with a couple of minor differences.

The Single-leg tradier mode as the name suggests allows you to place an order for a single stock/option (leg) at a time.

It also supports multiple arguments such as –
Trade type,Symbol,Quantity,OrderSide,OrderType,Duration,Symbol Option,Price,Trigger Price

The Multi-leg tradier mode on the other hand allows simultaneous execution of multiple stocks/options(legs) at a time seamlessly.
It supports multiple arguments like – order type, duration, price, order side, and multiple symbols at a time.

Let’s Dive Into The Steps To Use These Modes-

1. Single Leg Tradier –

Step 1 – go into a cell and type =TradeSingleLegTradier()
Step 2 – click the insert function button to the left of the formula bar
Step 3 – enter the arguments in the dialogue box
You can enter the following arguments –
Trade type,Symbol,Quantity,OrderSide,OrderType,Duration,Symbol Option,Price,Trigger Price

Step 4 – Press ok and you will see a link has been generated.

Step 5 – Click on that link which will redirect you to the tradier page
Step 6 – You can see that all your order details are prefilled, you can click preview to view the final order

Step 7 – Click submit to place the order.

2. Multi Leg Tradier –

Step 1 – go into a cell and type =TradeMultiLegTradier()
Step 2 – click the insert function button to the left of the formula bar
Step 3 – enter the arguments in the dialogue box
You can enter the following arguments –
Order type, Duration, Price, Order side, and Multiple option symbols at a time.
Hints for each of the arguments will be displayed towards the bottom of the dialogue box.
(You can also select a single symbol if you so wish)

Step 4 – Press ok and you will see a link has been generated.

Step 5 – Click on that link which will redirect you to the tradier page
Step 6 – You can see that all your order details are prefilled, you can click preview to view the final order
