I am wondering how useful are the EPS estimates we get from MarketXLS, which I think are supplied by Yahoo Finance. I am seeing a pretty large disparity from MarketXLS-supplied figures compared to Zacks, which collects EPS estimates from the analyst community. The figures SHOULD BE very close but they're not. Compare any stock and see for yourself. E.g., FB 2019 EPS from Zacks is forecast to be $8.12. From MarketXLS it is $9.38. That is a YUGE difference that can result in making costly mistakes in deciding what company is over or undervalued.
