stopped working

    Yesterday I received an error message that indicated that the app was no longer functioning. Same today. When I tried reinstalling the app (from the most recent update), it appeared to install, but then Excel start up hung. I deleted the app (which enabled Excel to start) and reinstalled, but then I get the no longer functioning message: AddinExpress.MSO.ADXErrorEventArgs.

    How do I fix...

    Hi Greg,

    Can you attempt to do the following...

    1) Repair your Excel install by going to the control panel. Select Microsoft Office, click on change, and then click on Quick repair.
    2) The remove - uninstall all versions of MarketXLS from the control panel
    3) And then install again?

    Let me know if this solves it.

    Thanks. I tried the quick repair and reinstall of MarketXLS, but it didn't work. But I figured it had to be an Excel issue and wanted to avoid a full reinstall of Excel (or Office). I ran Office updates and then reinstalled MarketXLS and it worked. I'm back, up and running.

    Re the update... I uninstalled the old version and installed the new version per instructions. I now have the same problem as before with the error message: AddinExpress.MSO.ADXErrorEventArgs. I uninstalled MarketXLS and ran the quick repair. Same problem. I uninstalled MarketXLS and ran a full repair. Same problem. All my Office updates are current.

    Any suggestions?

    I am having the same "addinexpress.mso.adxerroreventargs" error message whenever I try and run "get screener data." All the other screeners still work. I have done the microsoft office quick repair as well as reinstalled marketxls from the update email sent a few months ago.
