Common Issues & FAQ
Why is CFPS returning "NA"?
Check that:
- The symbol is valid
- Cash flow data is available
- The company has reported cash flow statements
How do I compare CFPS to EPS?
If CFPS is significantly higher than EPS, earnings quality is good (cash backs up accounting profits). If CFPS is much lower than EPS, investigate the difference.
Is this operating or free cash flow?
This typically returns operating cash flow per share. Free cash flow subtracts capital expenditures.
