PE Band Valuation Method

Plots a price to earnings band chart: historical closing prices drawn against multiples of trailing earnings per share, so each line on the chart is what the stock would have cost at a given multiple. Where price sits inside its own band is the read, which tells you more than an absolute multiple for companies that have always traded rich or always traded cheap. Closing prices and quarterly EPS are pulled per date, sector labels frame the peer comparison, and last price marks the current position on the band.
