MarketXLS version 9.3.2, released in August 2021, made three changes: historical-price functions started working for mutual funds, the add-in stopped asking users to re-enter their credentials, and the portfolio analysis module gained support for cash as a portfolio component (entered as "LiquidCash"). 1. New mutual fund data
MarketXLS added mutual fund data, so functions that rely on historical pricing and calculations, such as close historicals, "x_day high", stock return, YTD return and moving averages, work for mutual funds. The portfolio analytics and management module also started supporting mutual funds in a portfolio. At the time of release, mutual fund data was updated every morning at 1 am EST.
2. Updates to the credentials saving mechanism
MarketXLS updated its credentials settings so the add-in saves your credentials and you do not have to enter them repeatedly. Problems with losing the settings form were fixed in this release.
3. Cash component in the portfolio analysis module
The MarketXLS portfolio analysis module can include cash as one of the components of a portfolio, and all portfolio analytics account for it. Use the keyword "LiquidCash" as a component when creating the portfolio.
