what syntax for Preferred shares? also are preferred data available in Canada
There is no specific syntax for preferred shares. The normal functions should work, what changes is just the symbol. Is there any one which is not working for you?

DF.PR.A is an example it is a Canadian
Well Fargo Preferred Series J. When I simply use WFCPRJ in lieu of another symbol it brings back N/A, I have added WFCPRJ to my stock list.
I am a new user, thank you for the help.
hi Admin, is the an answer to the canadian preferred question above?
Sorry for the delay. I will get a resolution in this latest release around 1st of July
I purchased Marketxls April 24, 2016 and requested a refund May 18, 2016 and again May 20th, 2016. The request was made before the 30 day trial period ended, but as of today (June26, 2016), I'm still waiting for my refund to process.
Your refund is processed.

You have to use the preferred format supported by Yahoo finance. For WFC J-series preferred it is WFC-PJ. This is a common Yahoo syntax: stock ticker followed by a "-P" followed by the series letter ("J" in this case). You may need to go to Yahoo Finance and search in some cases. Morningstar uses WFCPRJ, Fidelity WFC/PJ and Quantum online WFC-J.
Excellent - thank you. Works perfectly for preferreds.
