Portfolio right click menu is missing .. I can't create portfolios

    I just bought a license yesterday. I am trying now to create a portfolio but I can't see the portfolio menu shown on the tutorial video when I right click a cell with text (i.e. the desired portfolio name) in it.

    I do see the portfolio menu in the Excel ribbon menu but when I try to create a portfolio with it using the "add" option, I get a message that reads "you already have a portfolio with this name". This is impossible because I just made up the name that I wanted to use for my portfolio.

    To see if it did get created regardless of the message that I mentioned before, I tried to add stocks to the portfolio using the Excel ribbon menu. Again that's the only menu that I can see because the right-click menu is not there. The add stocks form comes up but the portfolio name is not there so even though I can type in stock tickers, I cannot save the portfolio because I don't have a portfolio name.

    To fix this issue, I did several cycles of installing and uninstalling the add-in. I also tried it with Excel 2016 and Excel 2013 Professional Plus. I also tried it with Windows 7 Ultimate and Windows 10 Pro Fall Creators Update. I also tried it with .netFramewprk 3.5 and 4+. None of these combinations solved the issue.

    I also tried activating and deactivating the add-in. This did not work but I did notice that I had the add-in showing up twice; as a COM add-in and as an Excel add-in. I don't know if this is normal or if this could be causing the problem.

    When I installed the add-in everything went smooth and I got no errors or hiccups.

    Setting up a portfolio for me in Excel is one of my main objectives. Please help

    Hi,

    Thank You, due to a recent Microsoft update we had to move all context right click menus to the main ribbon under the portfolio section.

    Thanks for your reply but my problem still remains a problem. Regardless of the menu; in other words, if I use the main ribbon menu I can't create a portfolio because the add-in is telling me that "the portfolio already exists" just as I explain in my original post.

    Please help.

    Any updates? This is my first month with this Excel add-in. I paid for the most expensive option and I am starting to feel disappointed

    Please provide an update. I have been charged today again with $ 39.95 and I have not yet used the add-in for what I wanted to use it in the first place! It has been a month already and no solution so far. Please help.

    If there is no solution to the reported bug please let me know so that I can cancel my subscription right away

    hello the portfolio dashboard function is still not working properly I need assistance please.

    This is taking a bit longer but we have found the issue. I will post a link here for the new version as this needs a client update. Sorry for the delay on this, but this is on the top of our list and we are sorting this out for you.

    Is the portfolio working now? I have not received any download link for a new version? I just got charged yesterday $39.95 again. If the portfolio is not working now, please cancel my subscription as of today because I will not pay for yesterday's charge on my credit card. Please let me know.
