Activate MarketXLS

Activate the add-in after you install it. The activation method depends on which MarketXLS add-in you use.

Activate the Windows desktop add-in

1. Open desktop Excel on Windows.
2. Select the MarketXLS tab.
3. Select Settings/Help.
4. Select Apply License.
5. Paste the complete license key from your MarketXLS email.
6. Submit the key and wait for the confirmation message.

Avoid adding spaces before or after the license key.

Sign in to the Microsoft 365 add-in

1. Open Excel on your Mac or in a web browser.
2. Open MarketXLS (Web) from the ribbon.
3. In the task pane, select Sign in.
4. Enter the email address connected to your MarketXLS subscription.
5. Complete the sign-in prompt.

Confirm access

After you activate or sign in, enter your first formula. A returned value confirms that Excel can reach MarketXLS.

If MarketXLS rejects a valid license, follow Fix an invalid license or sign-in problem. Don't send your full license key in a public message or screenshot.
